How do you avoid false alarms?
When a check fails we re-verify it several times — ideally from different regions — before we declare an incident and page you.
What can I monitor?
Websites and APIs (HTTP/HTTPS, status codes, response time and keyword/content checks), TCP ports, mail servers (SMTP/IMAP/POP3), DNS records, SSL certificate and domain expiry, and cron jobs via heartbeat pings.
How will I be alerted?
